Bandwidth is the amount of video data delivered from Skippz to viewers when they watch your videos. Your subscription includes a specific amount of bandwidth for each billing period.
Understanding bandwidth helps you monitor how much of your included bandwidth usage you have consumed and identify when additional bandwidth charges may apply.
Bandwidth is used when your videos are delivered to viewers.
For example, when someone watches one of your videos, Skippz delivers video data to that viewer. That delivered data counts toward your bandwidth usage.
Bandwidth usage can therefore increase when:
More people watch your videos.
Your videos are watched more frequently.
Viewers watch videos for longer periods.
Your videos are embedded on websites and receive traffic.
Storage and bandwidth measure two different things.
Storage is used when you upload and keep videos in your Skippz account.
Bandwidth is used when those videos are delivered to viewers.
For example:
You upload a 5 GB video. The video uses storage because it is stored in your account. If viewers watch that video and Skippz delivers 20 GB of video data to them, the viewing activity uses 20 GB of bandwidth.
Uploading a video does not mean that the same amount of bandwidth is automatically consumed.
Your subscription includes a specific amount of bandwidth for each billing period.
For example, if your plan includes 200 GB of bandwidth:
You start the billing period with 200 GB of included bandwidth.
As viewers watch your videos, your bandwidth usage increases.
Your remaining included bandwidth decreases as it is used.
Once your included bandwidth is fully used, additional bandwidth may be handled through Pay As You Go.
Your bandwidth usage and remaining amount can be checked from your usage information.
When your included bandwidth is finished, Skippz can continue delivering video traffic through Pay As You Go if it is enabled and your Wallet has available funds.
The additional bandwidth is charged according to the Pay As You Go rate for your subscription plan .
You do not necessarily need to change your subscription plan simply because you have used all of your included bandwidth.
See How Pay As You Go Usage Works to understand what happens after your included bandwidth is used.
If your included bandwidth has been finished and there is no available Wallet balance for additional bandwidth, videos requiring additional bandwidth may no longer play for viewers.
Other Skippz functionality remains available.
See How Pay As You Go Usage Works for more information.
Bandwidth is associated with your billing period.
When a new billing period begins, your included bandwidth becomes available again according to your subscription.
For example, if your plan includes 200 GB of bandwidth and you use all 200 GB during the current billing period, the included bandwidth becomes available again when your next billing period starts.

You can check your current bandwidth usage from your Skippz usage information.
01. Click on the Usage icon in the bottom-left corner.
02.Then, you can see the Usage Overview page, which displays information such as your current usage of bandwidth and usage history of bandwidth.
Look at the available usage figures to understand:
How much bandwidth is included.
How much bandwidth you have used.
How much bandwidth remains.
Whether you have started using additional bandwidth.
Checking your usage regularly can help you understand your current traffic and identify unexpected increases.
Bandwidth usage can increase when your videos receive more traffic than usual.
For example, a video may receive significantly more views because it was shared on a website, embedded on another page, or watched repeatedly by viewers.
If your bandwidth usage looks higher than expected, review your usage information.
See Why Is My Usage Higher Than Expected? for help investigating unusual usage.
After your included bandwidth has been consumed, additional bandwidth is handled through Pay As You Go.
The additional amount is calculated according to the applicable bandwidth rate for your plan and deducted from your Skippz Wallet.
